At Rosehill Methodist Primary Academy, we offer a high-quality art and design curriculum that engages, inspires and challenges pupils.  The artists, architects (see DT overview) and designers studied have been carefully selected to reflect our key curriculum drivers: Community, Aspiration and Resilience, as well as our Methodist heritage.

Our curriculum enables pupils to build upon previous learning to deepen their knowledge and skills, thus enabling them to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. Sketch books are used from Year 1 to Year 6 to evaluate the work of artists, architects and designers; record pupils' own observations and drawings and to review and revisit previous ideas.
