In September 2020 we welcomed our new Chaplain to Rosehill

Rev Rob Balfour has joined us, below his photo is an introduction and contact details

I was born and bred in South Cheshire growing up in a village just outside Crewe. I went to Wales to study Biology and came back to Crewe to train to be a teacher which I did for 13 years. I taught Secondary Science in Manchester, Stockport, Surrey and lastly in Leicestershire.

I heard the call to be a Methodist Minister and after training in Birmingham I have spent 5 years at my first appointment in North Wales. Now I am back in the North West looking after 3 Churches around Ashton and Mossley as well as being the Chaplain to Rosehill.

I enjoy football and following my local team as well as gardening and walking. I am married and have two boys who are pupils at Rosehill.

I look forward to being involved in school and community life.
