Learning Together and Living Our Christian Values

Vision Statement:

At Rosehill Methodist Primary Academy our Methodist ethos and values are at the core of everything that we do and are the foundations for teaching and learning.  All children at Rosehill are valued and diversity is celebrated throughout our curriculum and our school community.  We have high aspirations for all of our children and through a safe, happy and engaging learning environment we prepare our children to become successful, confident and caring lifelong learners.  We understand the important role that parents and carers have in their children’s education and at Rosehill we ensure that parents are well-informed and provide regular opportunities for them to share in, and celebrate their children’s learning.

Our Values:

Each half term we learn about one of our values through our worship and all that we do both in and out of the classrooms. We choose a Values VIP from each class every week to help us focus on practicing these values in our own lives. Staff also reward children daily for following the values.

We believe it is important that all children get off to a good and equal start at school. Alongside our highly trained school staff we work with expert sports coaches and musicians to enhance our curriculum offer and provide a wide range of free after school clubs. We offer Forest School lessons in our woodland area.

Attached to and incorporated into our school is our SEN Resource Base, please click here for more information.

Attached to our academy is the Wesley Development Centre and this is used by a variety of groups, including health and social care as well as professional development courses for all staff within and beyond the academy.
